I also recommend picking Northrend Engineering and Draenor Archeology as temporary professions. The first allows the use of the loot-a-rang toy which allows looting movs from a distance. Okay, speaking of pet farms this one is a really unique farm.  What we're looking for is the carrier cage : black tabby.  This is a very sought after pet for both horde and alliance – which is why its price competitively at 55,000g.  The farm takes place in Hillsbrad Foothills on a peninsula like piece of land just northwest of the yeti caves.  There will be dozens of stormpike engineers surrounding ballistas that only horde characters can kill.  However, that doesn't mean alliance polayers can't do this farm (im alliance myself).  All you need to do is to create a class trial (monk is the best) and send him over to the grinding spot.  Use the black ox statue to attract the mobs, and easily maul them down group by group.  If luck is on your side, you can make out with an awesome black tabby carrier.
Tiragarde Sound and Stormsong Valley are both fairly similar zones, but Stormsong is a little longer, meaning that you might not even have to finish it to hit 120. Tiragarde also comes with a bit of a warning. There are plenty of side quests to do in the zone after you finish the story quests. Don’t do them. It’s not worth the time or the experience you’ll get.
The most important part of saving is to never buy equipment unless you're positive that it will increase your earning potential, or significantly speed your character's leveling progress. While it is true that gear is important (particularly for melee combat characters), it is also true that an overemphasis on having great gear before maximum level is dumb. Who cares if you're wearing a green sword at level 43? If you're advancing well, you aren't going to be level 43 for very long anyway. The only gear that currently "counts" is max level gear.

Island expeditions require groups of three players to venture to islands with randomly spawned enemies and piles of AP. The island expedition ends once they collect a certain amount of AP, and they are granted about 300 AP as a reward — unfortunately, players don’t get any of the between 6,000 and 12,000 AP they collect during the expedition. These missions can take anywhere from three to 20 minutes, and never once offer any real challenge or depth.

Gold for riding training. Travel time is a SIGNIFICANT time sink while using quests to level. You don't want to wait to get it. In fact, while questing, the second you ding 40/60/70/80 you'll want to hearth and train it IMMEDIATELY! 10304 gold is the base cost, which will be modified by reputation. Also, make sure you're in a guild with the 10% riding speed bonus unless you're a class that already gets a mount-speed buff.
Special mention is the Darkmoon Faire Top Hat and WHEE! buff. While not always available due to the DMF being inaccessible most of the month, if you happen to be leveling when the DMF is running, it might be worth your time to go and get these. AFAIK they do stack with heirlooms, although I have not personally tested it. Fair warning: These buffs do NOT stack with each other, and the hats disappear after the DMF goes away later in the month(unless you only log in when the faire is running).

A cool little pet farm that can take minutes or ages depending on the god of luck.  This spot contains some of the most dense troll spawns in the game, and each has the highest chance to drop the parrot pet thats soo sought after.  On every serve rthis per has  amedian value of about 70,000g so picking one up can be a pretty cool feat.  Like the sprite darter hatchling spot its, a random farming spot that requires alot of RNG to pull off, but if you get it to drop you can make out in spades.  The other drops are miniscule when compared to this spot.

Nov 6 Pet battle advice and leveling class Hi all. Been doing pet battling so far. I like it a lot. But I am not getting very much experience for my class Does the experience get better later on? I am a level 2 orc shaman with about 9 level 3 pets. I will keep leveling my pets but the experience feels very bad for my shaman levels. Any pet battle advice is welcome. Thanks. Bags: This SHOULD be a no-brainer. The cheap-o version are Netherweave bags, but if you have the gold I recommend you get the largest bags you can afford, since it means you won't have to stop to clean them out as often. In fact, if you have an excess of gold, it's probably not even worth your time to stop and loot mobs that aren't quest objectives. This seems like a small thing, but over the course of 100+ levels, all those clicks to loot add up.

Okay, this farm really picked up steam here in late legion.  Generally what we're looking for is volatile air, and other volatiles when combined with the potion of treasure finding.  This farm is as easy as pulling the entire instance all the way to the first boss – and AOE'ing down ebery mob that follows.  In the video you can see me getting volatile airs in stacks of 11 for each pull I make.   Wit the trending price of each volatile being worth at least 100g, I was making 1100g per pull.  It's by far the most effcient volatile spot, but it has hits limits as you can only reset an instance 10 times before you have to wait a while to do it again.  If you only going to be on for an hour or so, this is the spot you want to hit.  It's great, fast, and awards a high liquid value of items.  Awesome Stuff.

The NPC scan and NPC alert method is an awesome way to build a stock of rare BOE items simply because you don't really have to try.  By installing NPC scan and NPC alerts, you can literally just fly over anywhere and be alerted when you pass a rare spawn.  As we all know, rare spawn loot tends to have higher item vales, as not everyone is able to consistently farm them.  Some NPC's, especially those in outlands have those higher item values when compared to the rest of the world.  As a goldmaking method I just everyone should be doing this.  It only requires you download two addons and you can get access to important NPC,s that you would otherwise never knew existed.  The opportunities are endless, I would generally never play without these cool addons.  Realy cool.

I made some route changes to the Horde levels 43-44 sections.  I have swapped 44 Dustwallow Marsh with 44 Desolace (the entire sections). This allowed me to do Deadmire (at lvl 43 instead of 38) and then go stop at TB to turn in Deadmire + The Black Shield at the same time, then fly quickly to do the Desolace stuff.  Doing 44 Desolace is now mandatory because I think its faster with the new routes. This will also make the level 53 grind much shorter.  I think these were great changes.

Heirlooms. At the bare minimum you make sure all the armor pieces upgraded to 110, since this is the lion's share of your experience increase. Neck and Ring upgrades are secondary, but still important due to being able to enchant them. Trinkets can't be enchanted, but you'll want them at max as well, if only to save time by not having to worry about replacing them as you level.
The next World of Warcraft expansion, Battle for Azeroth, takes the game back to its roots a bit by focusing on the battle between the Horde and the Alliance. Each side will be able to explore three new zones. The Horde will have access to the islands of Zandalar while the Alliance will be able to traverse the island of Kul Tiras. These new areas will reportedly contain "allied races" which players will be able to recruit and eventually play as. 
Making gold is all about finding the balance that works best on your server between all the above methods. When you find that balance, repeat, repeat, repeat, until you get the results you want. Never make any rash decisions without first consulting the economy. If you do not think you can make a for sure profit, then do not do it! Change only when necessary, because your clients become accustomed to certain practices that keep them buying from you even if under cutters offer a slightly lower price. When hovering over an ability, the tooltip will tell you whether or not that attack is weak or strong against certain pet types. Additionally, you can hover over the opposing team's pets and view their attacks during combat. This will be important since it’s a good idea to pit a pet that's strong against the opponent's pet who's vulnerable to that type.
To use it as a bank, figure out how much you want to have on-hand on your character based on how much you normally spend on repairs, food, ammo, etc. and send the rest to the bank alt. The principle here is "Out of sight, out of mind.". Money "you don't have" cannot be spent, requiring you to log out of your character, and then to log into the alt.
The World of Warcraft playerbase is cut in half, but not in the usual “Horde versus Alliance” fashion. Instead, Horde players themselves seem at odds with what their faction actually stands for. Cobo and Lo suggest that this mismatch may be hard, if not impossible, to fix. Someone is always going to be disappointed, and with Cobo’s talk of honor being at the center of the Horde, Sylvanas-stans will probably have a disappointing time with the expansion.
 Vigilance Perch is essentially an automatic mount when out of combat. Despite its tooltip, it only allows you to fly in flying zones, so you will not be able to fly in Battle for Azeroth zones. This is a great Legendary to pair up with  Sephuz's Secret. Choosing between this and Apex will come down to personal preference and how you prefer to level. When speed-leveling with consumables, you will not get full value out of the mount ability of this Legendary. If you are just leveling normally, try them both out and see what works best for you.

Eventually, the Alliance finishes its preparations and launches an attack on the Zadalari capital of Dazar'zalor, their goal being to sever the budding alliance between the Zandalari and the Horde by dismantling the Golden Fleet and capturing King Rastakhan. Despite Anduin and Jaina's desire to capture him alive, Rastakhan is overwhelmed by the power of his pact with the Loa Bwonsamdi, and the Alliance champions are forced to slay him. Enraged by Rastakhan's death, Horde champions launch a vicious counterattack on the withdrawing Alliance forces, which ends with both Jaina and High Tinkerer Mettatorque gravely wounded. As the Alliance leadership debates their next move, Sylvanas, infuriated by the Horde's defeat, resurrects Jaina's long dead brother Derek Proudmoore as a Forsaken, an act that horrifies the surviving Horde leaders, with the intent to use him as a sleeper agent to destroy the Proudmoore family from within.

Before anyone asks - yes there are archived copies of old addon versions both on our github repository and on several of the addon sites we use, and these will continue to be available after Cataclysm comes out, so you'll be able to get those old files if you really want them. I'm not going to bother making these more easily accessible unless you give me a very good reason. "I'm on a private server and I need them since we didn't upgrade to Cataclysm" is a BAD reason - and it's illegal.
Darkmoon Faire: The Darkmoon Faire comes around once a month and provides two ways of bonus XP. You can ride the carousel to get the “Whee!” buff (10% bonus XP for one hour). You can also get the Darkmoon Top Hat by playing a few games, which gives you 10% bonus XP but only works during the Darkmoon Faire. Both of these are generally not worth it for the most part, as you spend more time running to get the buff than you gain in XP when leveling.

The Horde levels 50-60 guide has been rewritten and revamped.  My 1-60 Horde leveling guide is now completely updated for the 1.12 Drums of War patch.  As you can see it is about 15% larger than the 40-50 guide (single largest guide page yet).  There is also a lot of route changes.  I moved the entire Silithus section from level 55 to level 58, which allowed me to include a lot more quests for that zone.  There is also a lot of other improvement to the route, including adding a lot more quests into the guide, mostly from Moonglade, Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands.  This will make the final level 59 grind much shorter.

Most of the time you spend leveling will involve questing and slaying monsters, but there’s also a lot of travel. Travel earns you little experience (you do gain a bit for discovering new areas), so it’s wise to keep travel to a minimum. The new level scaling system, which scales zones to your level within a preset range, helps with that. You can choose what zones you want to experience and stick with them until you finish their quests.

I decided I wanted to try to level a Healer, but in no MMO to date have I ever actually played a healer. For a novice healer, what class would be good for mostly PVE content (Super guildless across all toons so not expecting to heal outside of LFD/LFR for awhile) with some battlegrounds when I max out. To give you some perspective I leveled both a LF Ret Paladin and BE Rogue (so one started from level 20 and the other from level 1). I focused on getting the achievements I was missing for the Loremaster, so not the most efficient route by any means. I was using full enchanted heirlooms (minus the ring) and the WoW-Pro addon though, as well as having War Mode turned on all the way.

This expansion suffers from the Warlords of Draenor (WoD) effect, initially, players will think this is a great expansion but upon investing some time into the game they'll realize this game is a disaster. The pre-patch should have been our first warning with how poorly designed and executed that fiasco was, but beyond that, let's look at what the expansion itself offers:
Once your character makes it to Outland and beyond, cashflow frees up considerably. The quest rewards are much better than in Azeroth. In fact, a typical character will earn from 1000-1200 in quest rewards and vendor trash while leveling 60-70 in Outland, and perhaps 1400-1600 from 70-80 in Northrend. The tendency is, therefore, to spend more freely after one hits 60. However, it is important for players not to go crazy on their spending once they make it to Hellfire. One thing is, training costs, repair costs, and consumable costs are also higher. More important, there is a large purchase that you are going to want to make at some point after level 60, your first flying mount and skill. The "bird" costs 40, the skill will cost you far more. Not only that, but if you want to fly it in Northrend at level 70, you'll have to shell out another 400 for Cold Weather Flying. And for those characters who will be 'farming' herbs or ore in either Outland or Northrend, an elite flying mount is almost essential, as it helps you gather almost twice as fast. That's another 5000 you'll be looking at. Therefore, budgeting carefully during the 60-80 leveling process is essential to ensuring you have sufficient cash on hand for making those purchases. Saving your pennies early makes that bird appear that much sooner.
Guild Banners. The Banner of Cooperation and Battle Standard of Coordination will increase the experience from kills. They both have a 10 minute cooldown, but when you use one, the other is only locked out for 2 minutes. I was very bad about using these, so it might be worth using a macro to drop them on your first attack against an enemy. Keep in mind you must have reputation with your guild before being able to buy these, so new character may have a bit of a wait before picking them up.
Flipping is the least time consuming way to make gold in WoW. It simply involves trading on the auction house. You buy low and sell high. There are a lot of different markets you can try your hand in flipping both Legion and old world. Flipping works best when there are natural variations in either demand or supply for an item which will cause the price to vary over time.
They seem to have expected some things, though, see adding pets with aquatic damage (gun and ooze) aswell as a resistant cockroach to stop us from cheesing everything with elementals. Yet, a fact their damage output is low combined with shields not checking for racial damage means this mechanic prevents a lot as you mentioned. The last boss has got an ability to remove basic shields so perhaps that was not in oblivion either… unlike the reactive damage. Also, an ability that forces swap altogether with an ability which prevents from being swapped, including critters? I can't say I like it.
-New dungeons- About 3/4 are fairly decent, not too long not too short, but none of them are compelling, none make me say to my friends and guildies, "Hey, let's do this instance, I love the theme and encounters." They're dull but tolerable. The other 1/4 of the dungeons just aren't fun and you will groan when you get a mythic Keystone for the Underrot, the snake temple, or Waycrest Manor. Waycrest Manor is actually one of the better dungeons, however, with the new Infested affix, Waycrest Manor suffers from many game-breaking bugs that end in the entire instance being pulled due to doors not properly working as intended.
Cooking is a secondary crafting profession, which is available in addition to your two main professions. It takes various food crafting materials such as meats and fish and turn them into consumable food. The consumables give statbuffs and are used by raiders and other players seeking to maximize performance. It is a great money maker and you should have it on your main.
