Incursions are a new world content activity that are unlocked when one character has unlocked World Quests. This feature is unlocked account-wide meaning that all characters on that account can access Incursions even without being Level 120. This provides for a lucrative experience acquisition method that is available in a similar pattern to what Legion Invasions offered with nearly an entire level earned by completing an Incursion series which involves four World Quests and one mini-scenario at the end. These also grant item level 370 weapons and Azerite armor, so they should be done any time they are up. Incursions follow a similar schedule to Invasions and are available for 20 hours once they are initiated.

Okay, this farm really picked up steam here in late legion.  Generally what we're looking for is volatile air, and other volatiles when combined with the potion of treasure finding.  This farm is as easy as pulling the entire instance all the way to the first boss – and AOE'ing down ebery mob that follows.  In the video you can see me getting volatile airs in stacks of 11 for each pull I make.   Wit the trending price of each volatile being worth at least 100g, I was making 1100g per pull.  It's by far the most effcient volatile spot, but it has hits limits as you can only reset an instance 10 times before you have to wait a while to do it again.  If you only going to be on for an hour or so, this is the spot you want to hit.  It's great, fast, and awards a high liquid value of items.  Awesome Stuff.

From “The Burning Crusade” expansion, weapons like Klinge der Zauberei, Die Nachtklinge and recipes for different weapons are really valuable. The best example is Pläne: Teufelsstahlangschwert, worth 500.000+ Gold. These items are World Drops, you can find them in all raids and dungeons. I don’t know any Open World Drops, but that does not mean there are none. Another great transmog source are world bosses and rare spawns on Outland.

Now, on the other part of the equation, the items that return materials on mission finished are overlooked. Looking at this Wowhead comment https://www.wowhead.com/item=162114/crimson-ink-well#comments:id=2607578 the most lucrative ones are the disenchanting rod (returns enchanting mats, best case scenario, 10x veiled crystals) and the magnetic mining pick (returns ores, up to 40x Stormsilver). This is totally server dependant, but you will need to check which ones are worth where you play.

8.1 unlocked a new level up state for epic champions that gives them 2 equipment slots, so I thought to reconsider which equipment should my BFA champions have in order to maximize gains. I saw a lot of negativity in other post about champion equipment (https://old.reddit.com/r/woweconomy/comments/ad6uzb/is_champion_equipment_worth_it/). IMO, the mission table has the best effort/reward ratio in the game, as in you just click things and some time later you get results.

Once your auctioning operation reaches a certain size a second account becomes an invaluable tool. It will allow you to run auctioning scans, shopping scans and collect mailboxes while playing your main. I strongly suggest buying a second monitor as well. I just decided that I would simply finish leveling my hunter the hard way, but when i can get heirlooms ill make a warrior and follow your guide to 80. I definitly want an 80 warrior for cataclysm... seeing as worgen warrior is going to be a crazy tank! By the way, is using heirlooms with your guides ok? And what class should I be for a tank? However, many of them are dangerous and just filled with lies or exaggerations. It is my advice that you stick to three main websites: Wowhead.com, Worldofwarcraft.com, and Mmo-champion.com. On wowhead.com, one can see average prices overall on every sellable item currently in the game. This is a nice start; however, most servers have economies that differ greatly. I played on one server where a +healing red gem went for 100g and another where the same gem went for 55g. Swings like this are just the beginning. Random drop epics, especially those BoEs from newer content sometimes differ by thousands of gold! (Consider this fact especially if you are planning on transferring, as this can be the greatest gold mine in WoW). Worldofwarcraft.com provides a little known list containing the most common bought items on the auction house across every server in an aggregate sense! This means that they average every server before listing the results. Unlike wowhead.com, this presents the reader with a much more accurate portrayal of what they may expect on their own given server. Results will be slightly different, but this tool should not be overestimated.
Nov 14 social questions, and a few others Hello! so i played wow 7 years ago, and remember it being really social. People would chat or answer questions. But after restarting a few days ago I've gone from lvl 1 to lvl 23 without getting a single reply to the odd question i've had. i'm not overdoing it or anything.. Do people not use the general chat at all? Is the game more group oriented now? Have i missed some setting? other than that - what does the well rested thing mean, and should I be using 2 pets for my hunter. Thanks for the help! OxfordEichi5 Nov 14
The world quests aren’t necessarily bad, but they aren’t good either. I wouldn’t mind killing five of a type of monster or fighting one particular boss a few times, but after seven or eight, it starts to wear pretty thin. But going from levels in the mid-20s can take nearly 30,000 AP, so you’ll need more than world quests if you want to get your heart up in a reasonable time.
5. at least get 4 characters with these professions. Tailoring/Enchanter; Minning/jewelcrating; Minning/Blacksmithing and Herbalist/alchemist. You can skip blacksmithing and take Minning/herbalist with 1 of your alts. While doing your world quest in argus, try to get all the ores and herbs that you can. Send all the cloth and greens to your tailor character.
Note that these general principles do not apply to blue or purple items. If you are a first-time player, there is absolutely no reason to purchase these items. None. Sub-80 rare and epic items are only for the alts or twinks of established players that have money to waste (because that's what it is) by showing off their Staff of Jordan (or whatever). Blues and purples are completely cost-ineffective for first-time characters. Within a few levels, you will find green gear that is roughly comparable, or you'll get better blues from instance runs at the same level. So, do not buy these items, under any circumstances, if you are a first-time character (no matter how cool they look). And even if you're reasonably well-off financially, think twice. This is especially true as your character gets closer to levels 58 and 68. Even the most basic quest-reward gear in Outland will have substantially better stats than anything you can buy off the AH for a level 56 character. The same is true of Northrend gear at level 68 vis-a-vis the stuff you'll get in Outland at level 68. As such, smart players stop making AH gear purchases by about level 54 or so, and then just gut it out until level 58. The same is true at levels 64-68. Within the first several quests in Hellfire and/or Northrend you'll have replaced half of your gear in any case, guaranteed.

Awesome trick really.  In this farm we'll be taking advantage of game mechanics to exploit a way into getting more defias loot drops.  The defias leggings and gloves have respective selling prices of 3,000g and 14,000g and only drop from 1 mob in the instance a staggering 1% of the time.  But do not fret, we can get the upper hand on this.  Much like past drop-combat farms, if you kill just one of the two defias overseer's in the instance, THEN drop combat, the one you killed will instantly respawn.  The trick here is to bring a character that can consistently drop combat and score many more kills than the average farmer.  To date, a hunter is best – with night elf being slightly better because of shadowmeld.  You can also bring potions of invisibility to boost the effect.  Anyway, while the average farmer only gets 1 shot to get these super rare xmogs, with this method you can get up to 40 chances in an hour.  Seems fair right?

I like his recommendations 2 level 1-20 zones to get to 20, then do all the 2nd zones since they are designed for walking (Horde: Northern Barrens, Silverpine Forest, Ghostlands, Azshara, & Hillsbrad Foothills if you need a little more. Alliance: Westfall, Loch Modan, Darkshore, Bloodmyst Isle, and if you need a little more Redridge Mtns, or Duskwood). Don't even bother with the higher level areas, too spread out. Finishing up a Monk now and I had done all these zones before the update, the running between quest and the 50% experience cap is driving me crazy.

A cool little pet farm that can take minutes or ages depending on the god of luck.  This spot contains some of the most dense troll spawns in the game, and each has the highest chance to drop the parrot pet thats soo sought after.  On every serve rthis per has  amedian value of about 70,000g so picking one up can be a pretty cool feat.  Like the sprite darter hatchling spot its, a random farming spot that requires alot of RNG to pull off, but if you get it to drop you can make out in spades.  The other drops are miniscule when compared to this spot.

Another question I am frequently asked is when should one use trade instead of the auction house. On most servers, the auction house tends to have a lot posted right after peak hours, say 1am server time. Combine this with the fact that a lot of people are just sitting in cities and not really looking to the auction house. This is where trade chat dominates the auction house. Tired players are looking for conversation to take their mind off of sleeping or boredom. If you can sell effectively, trade chat will make a greater profit then the auction house outside of peak hours. A few tips to polish those trading skills might include:
To do this, you will need up the WoW Legion Expansion, a maximum of 10 characters including a Herbalist at Lvl 100+, and, of course, Seeds! You can get the seeds by farming them, doing Herbalism World Quests, or buying or trading them in the Auction House. Usual seed raids can are for 30, 50, and 100 seeds and raiding them can take up to a maximum of two hours.
The zone you start in isn't under your control, in as much as it's pre-selected for you based on your race. But for leveling purposes we want to make scaling work for us as much as possible. That means sticking to the lower level zones. Even though scaling will increase the level of the quests and mobs in those zones, the layout and design of them is built for a player with no mount. So you'll blaze through them and gain more exp/hour than higher level zones which assume you DO have a mount.
Get exalted reputation with every faction you can. This relates to the previous two pretty directly. Gaining reputation with most of the factions of Kul Tiras and Zandalar will allow them to sell you high-level gear, while gaining reputation with the Champions of Azeroth faction will grant you levels for your Heart of Azeroth, the neck piece where all of your AP is stored.

I do not recommend going for TBC, although I remember Hellfire peninsula to be decent, everything else is rather slow. Instead go for WotLK, Borean Thundra gets you levelled very fast, and then you can head straight for Icecrown at 67, which is also insanely fast, although admittedly has a few elite quests. You can go to Sholazar Basin alternatively. 2 zones should get you 60-80 no problem.

In Kul Tiras, the Alliance's initial attempt to gain the nation's assistance ends disastrously when Katherine Proudmoore, Lord Admiral of Kul Tiras and mother to Archmage Jaina Proudmoore, not only refuses the Alliance's request for aide but also orders Jaina arrested and exiled for her role in the death of her father, Daelin Proudmoore, in the aftermath of the Third War. It quickly becomes apparent that Kul Tiras has become mired in corruption and outside threats, so Anduin and Genn Greymane send Alliance Champions to aid the Kul Tirans and earn their trust. Aiding them in this quest are Flynn Fairwind, a "retired" privateer, and Taelia Fordragon, the idealistic daughter of Bolvar Fordragon, former High Lord of Stormwind and current Lich King of the Undead Scourge. The Alliance is successfully able to earn the trust of Kul Tiras by combating the pirates of the traitorous Ashvane Trading Company in Tirisgrade Sounds, the Naga and corrupted agents of Queen Azshara in Stormsong Valley, and the occult forces of the ancient, ghostly warlord Gorak Tul in Drustvar. After these threats are defeated, Katherine is left despondent at her inability to lead her people, and resolves to help the Alliance find Jaina and reconcile with her. The Alliance eventually track Jaina to the prison island of Fate's End, where Gorak Tul, having survived the events of Drustvar, has kidnapped her and is tormenting her with visions of her past failures. Similarly, when earning by volume, do not overload the AH with your items. Basic supply and demand: too much supply will make your wares too common and unwanted. Furthermore, with great demand and a cheaper price, you may end up starting a price war with your competitors, with them actively trying to undercut and outdo you. Moderate the amount of items you're selling on the AH to small batches, refilling them only when sold out.

Server Datacentre Location - New York, Chicago, Phoenix, Los Angeles First and foremost: Limit your search to servers that are as close to you (physically) as possible. Closer servers will have better latency, and thus deliver a better play experience. WoWWiki has a great list by datacentre: http://www.wowwiki.com/US_realm_list_by_datacenter Realm Type - PvP, PvE, RP, RP-PvP Now that you know which servers to look at, the next most important question is if you want to play on a PvE, PvP, RP, or RP-PvP server. RP vs. non-RP servers should be a simple choice: when interacting with other players, do you want to act "in character" replying to other players like they're living inside the world of Azeroth, or would you rather just play WoW like any other video game treating everyone else like a player at a keyboard? If you want to play on an RP server with active RPers: "Wyrmrest Accord and Moon Guard are very popular, but Moon Guard is very over populated." -Nok PvE vs. PvP is a bit of a tougher decision. On a PvP server, once you get to about lvl 20, in just about every questing zone you go to you can be attacked at any time by any player of the opposite faction (Horde vs. Alliance). If you like the idea of jumping other players while they're running around killing mobs/questing, this may be for you. If you don't like the idea of a max lvl player killing you in 1 shot when they ride by, then you may want to stick to PvE servers. Some people feel that PvP servers have a slightly more mature community since most children and/or immature players can't stand being killed randomly. Other people feel that PvP servers have a less mature community since it's full of teenagers who like to grief other players while they're just trying to quest. YMMV. Realm population - New, Low, Medium, High, Full The next major consideration for choosing a realm is the realms' population, both the total number of players and the Alliance / Horde ratio. This is a bit more complicated, and there are different ways of looking at the data. First, WarcraftRealms.com has a tool for taking a "census" of various realms, but it relies on data uploads from players on the server. Its data is only as accurate as the data it receives from player uploads, but it gives a pretty good baseline idea: http://www.warcraftrealms.com/realmstats.php?sort=Total Another useful way to look at population data is in terms of server age. Older servers tend to have higher populations. This means the auction house will have many more items listed and will be much more competitive. 10/25 Man Raid PuGs: Higher population => more things happening => more groups going all the time. This also, however, means (on some servers) that PuGs can be more picky in who they take along since anyone can be replaced quickly. A/H ratio: Depending on how you like to play, you may want an even ratio so that everything that involves opposite faction interaction (like world PvP) are more fair, or you may want to be on the advantage side of an imbalanced ratio so that your side is usually winning. Island Expeditions:[5] 3-Player co-op with optional 3v3 gameplay. Players will explore uncharted isles across the Great Sea. There is azerite and other unclaimed resources bubbling to the surface that is highly sought by both factions. Complete varied and dynamic objectives with a large variety of challenges to overcome. Race against advanced AI opponents designed to thwart players using tactical and strategic moves that consistently change. Optionally, players can choose to race against other players, creating a 3v3 PvP environment. 
You’ll gradually gain access to new War Campaign quests while leveling up to 120, requiring you to establish footholds on Zandalar, send followers on missions at the mission table, complete Island Expeditions, and reach Friendly reputation with Order of Embers, Proudmoore Admiralty, and Storm’s Wake. After you’ve reached player level 120, new quests will unlock at specific reputation levels with 7th Legion.
The leveling guides on my site are essentially speed leveling guides.  My leveling guides are the same guides I use myself to speedrun to 60 on new servers to get 60 server first.  I list many occasions where I tell the player to "die on purpose" to go faster.  I tell the player to skip certain quests, because some quests are just not worth the time/XP.  I list tricks and shortcuts to go faster so you can reach level 60 much quicker.  I am still constantly going through them over and over again perfecting the guides to make them faster and easier to follow.  For the most part, the guide can be followed without the need from other player's help, as the whole guide was made from a solo run anyways.  Although I do list quests that can optionally be done if you have a group.
Once your character makes it to Outland and beyond, cashflow frees up considerably. The quest rewards are much better than in Azeroth. In fact, a typical character will earn from 1000-1200 in quest rewards and vendor trash while leveling 60-70 in Outland, and perhaps 1400-1600 from 70-80 in Northrend. The tendency is, therefore, to spend more freely after one hits 60. However, it is important for players not to go crazy on their spending once they make it to Hellfire. One thing is, training costs, repair costs, and consumable costs are also higher. More important, there is a large purchase that you are going to want to make at some point after level 60, your first flying mount and skill. The "bird" costs 40, the skill will cost you far more. Not only that, but if you want to fly it in Northrend at level 70, you'll have to shell out another 400 for Cold Weather Flying. And for those characters who will be 'farming' herbs or ore in either Outland or Northrend, an elite flying mount is almost essential, as it helps you gather almost twice as fast. That's another 5000 you'll be looking at. Therefore, budgeting carefully during the 60-80 leveling process is essential to ensuring you have sufficient cash on hand for making those purchases. Saving your pennies early makes that bird appear that much sooner.
Incorporating an accelerated leveling pace is *definitely* something we want to incorporate in to the new addon My hope is to allow an option for you to set yourself to one or two higher speeds, where the guide will skip some steps along the way. The steps will have a special tag that lets the addon know to skip them if the person has that setting enabled.
This top-end difficulty was missing entirely from Legion’s first raid, Emerald Nightmare, which was cleared by top guilds in around 11 hours. Meanwhile the first guild to clear Uldir’s hardest difficulty, Mythic, spent somewhere around 70 hours attempting to kill the raid’s eight bosses. Even after all that time, the guild, Method, still had members say they loved the raid, and that it was one of their favorite in recent memory.
If you frequently run instances, then Deadly Boss Mods is one of the best addons you can possibly have. In fact, it’s the most downloaded addon for WoW on Curse. Essentially, it alerts you on everything you need to know about a dungeon while you’re in one so that you can keep yourself alive. It’s pretty customizable, and it interacts with other people who have the addon as well, so going in with a party can really help utilize this addon’s full potential.

I generally hate this farming spot, although I remember alot of farmers coming up big here.  For my liking the drop chance on the sprite darter hatchling is very low and I couldnt ever come up with one during this expansion.  HOWEVER, if you do get one, you an make out BIG -  as this pet is non-existent on pretty much every server's AH.  Did I mention it goes for a stunning 150,000g? Yup.  Then add to the fact that many players LOVE this pet, especially girls for some reason...  And you can make a big profit if you get one to drop.  Honestly I hate it, it just rubbed me the wrong way.  You can find it in new thalanar, on the very east side of feralas.  Good luck.


Level with a pet if you can because it will help keep you safe. If your pet is tanking all of the damage from the enemies you’re fighting, you won’t have to. The other reason is that pets are easier and cheaper to heal than you are. If you don’t have a pet, make sure you know how to use your defensive abilities. The Auction House (AH) is a brilliant way of making money if you know the tricks on how to do it. The basic strategy with the AH is to buy things cheap, re-list them on the AH, and then sell them for a profit. Even better, of course, is to get good items from drops and then sell them on the Auction House for pure profit. Many players generate most or all of their cashflow simply by speculating on the AH. So a good understanding of the it, as well as some time to invest, is essential to turning it into a money-making proposition for you. It is also highly recommended that you get the Auctioneer addon for quick listing auctions, and knowing the average price of items. Another great addon that can assist you in flipping items for profit on the Auction House is Tycoon. This addon analyzes items on the Auction House such as cloth, ore, and even TCG mounts. Once the information is recorded, Tycoon will inform you of the most profitable items possible, and exactly how much you can make by either farming them, or buying them at their current price and then relisting them.
