Raw gold farms revolve around farming areas where the mobs drop a lot of gold and you also get items you can sell to vendors. The primary goal is to just generate pure gold. The most popular raw gold farm is to run all the Cataclysm raids at 25 heroic. This will net about 1.5-2.5k gold per raid, and a chance at some rare mounts. Raw gold farms are great if you don’t like interacting with the AH, dislike variance or you are in the process of building up your capital.
Battle for Azeroth’s War Mode puts you into PvP mode and grants you 10 percent extra experience. But since the two factions will mostly level in separate zones entirely, you should almost definitely have this on when you’re leveling. That said, if you start getting killed by random PvP players consistently, stop using it. Although 10 percent is nice, it’s not worth dying every few minutes for.
Heirlooms are special pieces of armor that level up with your character, so they have stats that are always respectable for your character’s level (up to level 110). Heirlooms that fit the head, shoulder, chest, legs, and back armor slot offer an experience bonus. The total bonus is 45 percent if you have them all. It’s also possible to acquire a ring that adds another 5 percent, but you must win a fishing contest acquire it, and that can take some time.
Two new raids will be introduced in the update, which differ drastically in size and content, depending on which side of the war you’re on. The Siege of Zuldazar raid will see Alliance players trying to take over a city, but if you’re part of the horde, your version will see you try to defend it. Once you’ve beaten it once, you can then play the other side. The Crucible of Storms raid, on the other hand, is smaller, and only consists of two bosses.
Materials ('mats') - items that get used in professions. This is driven more by use than by source; for example, copper is very easy to mine, but it is widely in demand, and you can often find bargains in copper, bargains you can profit from. Contrarily, some very scarce mats may have low demand, may only be used in one mediocre recipe, and may not sell.
This farm has the same exact perks as the misty coast farm. You will be able to gather oddly shaped stomachs, butchered meat, and all the trade goods that exist inside of both containers. The benefit to this farm over the other is that it takes place much closer to the flightmaster and the mobs are much easier to solo. Therefore, players with a lower item level can get the job done without having to worry about the elites that surround the misty coast spot. Again, an AWESOME spot for anyone who skins and by far some of the easiest most liquidatable gold you can make this expansion.
Whatever your approach, if you use some common sense and apply yourself, you can make significant quantities of money in the game. By managing your cashflow, conserving and budgeting where you can, and investing wisely in those activities that make you money, you can become financially solvent relatively early in your career, and remain comfortably well-off (while still buying good gear) at level 80. On my server there's a big shortage of Primal Air. I've tried farming it in the past using supposedly the best spot(s), but it was honestly horrible. After looking at the Wowhead for Primal Air I noticed there's actually a transmute recipe for Primal Water to Air. I will say as a warning that it apparently does have a 1 day CD like a lot of transmutes, so for some people it might not be worth the time. But at least on my server, there's not 1 Primal Air on the AH and I know that it's a constant shortage, so at the moment I could make a lot of profit just doing my daily CD for this after getting the recipe. To get the recipe you do have to be revered with the Cenarion Expedition from TBC, and there's guides on Wowhead for grinding out that rep as well. I'd recommend checking the stock of Primal Air on The Undermine Journal for your server, and if it's relatively low and you have at least 1 alchemist, go for it. It could be a decent way of making a little more passive gold, just transmuting one Primal to another. I'm probably actually gonna start rolling another alchemist at some point, and this discovery has definitely prodded me in that direction as doing this transmute won't interfere with other TBC transmutes, because there aren't default TBC transmutes as far as I'm aware.
This is cumulative, as you take into account each failed sale as a loss. In the event too many deposits accumulate, you must decide whether to continue selling the item inflated by too many sales or finding of another way to dispose of it. One final tip: when you find that an item fails to sell in one AH, selling it on the other may finally dispose of it and get you your earnings.
Mythic+ has some similarity to raiding, but it’s designed for just five players, instead of the 10-to-30 that can make up a raid. This mode tasks players with clearing the game’s dungeons, but with specific changes that make them harder, scaling up until it’s impossible for groups to finish. Players receive a keystone in their inventory that assigns them their dungeon, one of the game’s 10, and gives the dungeon a level. This determines how difficult enemies are and what effects might make them harder. If the group completes the keystone in time, they get a new, higher-level stone; if they, don’t they get a lower-level stone.

Please note that this guide represents the accumulated wisdom of many people. You don't necessarily have to do all of these things--there is no one "right" way to make and manage money. However, these pointers will give you ideas on how to establish a firm financial foundation for your character.
Once you have your finished product and have a price for it, keep in mind that using either your faction AH or the neutral AH also costs money: if the item does not sell, its deposit is taken by the AH; if it does sell, the deposit is returned, but a cut from the payment it taken by the AH as a commission. You must factor this into your selling price: your faction's AH will take 5% from your sale, while the neutral ones will take 15%. You can factor this into your cost to determine the minimum price at which you need to sell to at least break even:
If you are already at Level 110, you will probably have a number of different Legendary items to choose from (if you do not have any Legendary items, simply skip this section). While their special effects stop working at Level 116, until then, they can be a powerful bonus to help you level up quickly. The leveling guides on my site are essentially speed leveling guides. My leveling guides are the same guides I use myself to speedrun to 60 on new servers to get 60 server first. I list many occasions where I tell the player to "die on purpose" to go faster. I tell the player to skip certain quests, because some quests are just not worth the time/XP. I list tricks and shortcuts to go faster so you can reach level 60 much quicker. I am still constantly going through them over and over again perfecting the guides to make them faster and easier to follow. For the most part, the guide can be followed without the need from other player's help, as the whole guide was made from a solo run anyways. Although I do list quests that can optionally be done if you have a group.
Hey guys. So as the title suggests im new to wow. Im currently leveling my first character, a fury warrior, and was just wondering are there any guides out there for leveling your first character ? Ive seen a bunch of leveling guides but most of them are made for people who already have a max level character and can be confusing. So I was just wondering is there a guide out there that can show me how to level my first character ? Thanks beforehand I appreciate it!
YouTuber Oldbess recently uploaded a video about this cool method. Generally completing the scenario "Deaths of Chromie" will allow you to pick up the item "Time-Lost Wallet" in excess. You can get it from just killing the mobs or actually completing the scenario in full. By then end you will have dozens of time lost wallets. Each wallet awards 50g AND a rare chance at getting the ]bronze proto-whelp[/U] pet. In the video, this spot was VERY hard for to pull off as it requires a high item level. With an 809 item level I struggled all throughout the scenario and could not make this spot profitable for the time invested. The good news is, if you can get it done, the gold you make will be entirely liquidated – the rewards are 50g raw for each wallet turn in. I suggest you watch it on Oldbess's channel for full details.
Vigilance Perch is essentially an automatic mount when out of combat. Despite its tooltip, it only allows you to fly in flying zones, so you will not be able to fly in Battle for Azeroth zones. This is a great Legendary to pair up with Sephuz's Secret. Choosing between this and Apex will come down to personal preference and how you prefer to level. When speed-leveling with consumables, you will not get full value out of the mount ability of this Legendary. If you are just leveling normally, try them both out and see what works best for you.
I like his recommendations 2 level 1-20 zones to get to 20, then do all the 2nd zones since they are designed for walking (Horde: Northern Barrens, Silverpine Forest, Ghostlands, Azshara, & Hillsbrad Foothills if you need a little more. Alliance: Westfall, Loch Modan, Darkshore, Bloodmyst Isle, and if you need a little more Redridge Mtns, or Duskwood). Don't even bother with the higher level areas, too spread out. Finishing up a Monk now and I had done all these zones before the update, the running between quest and the 50% experience cap is driving me crazy.
Be warned that players will occasionally list items in the Auction House that are sold by vendors. This typically applies to limited sale quantity items or items in remote, harder to reach locations. Items from Outland that advance certain skills (such as books for training Cooking or First Aid past a skill of 300) are typical. These items are notoriously listed for 2, 3, or even 10 times their vendor purchase-able price. Using an add-on such as Auctioneer Advanced can forewarn you of such a tactic. You should ONLY buy such items if your server is so full and busy that you simply are unable to acquire the item on your own. Otherwise, wait for the vendor to re-stock (usually takes about 20 minutes to 1 hour depending upon the vendor). You'll save yourself a considerable amount of money. See Buying Items from Vendors for Resale below for more on this.
The Hearthstone has a cooldown of 30 minutes, but there’s a guild perk called Hasty Hearth that shaves the time by half, giving you a strong incentive to join a guild. Yes, even if it’s some random guild that invites you without warning. It may feel odd to join people you don’t know, but if they have Hasty Hearth (and most guilds do), joining can save you a lot of legwork.
As of Patch 2.3, if you get a message "Interface action failed because of an AddOn", this means that an AddOn interfered with the Blizzard UI in some way. To diagnose this, enter the following into chat "/console taintLog 1" and restart the game and try to reproduce it. If you reproduce it, you can quit the game and search through the file Logs\taint.log for the word "blocked" and mail the log to the author of the AddOn listed there. Once you have done this you can turn off logging by entering the following into chat "/console taintLog 0"
Keep in mind that these quests are optional, and are not necessary to continue leveling and capturing companions. They are also account-wide, so if you complete the quest chain on one character, you will not be able to complete it again on another. However, any progress that you've made will be saved and you can pick up where you left off in the quest chain on another character. The dailies that you've unlocked will also be accessible by all your toons.
As you're leveling, I generally recommend you just follow the natural flow of the progression through each zone. They're laid out fairly reasonably. But don't be afraid to hop around, especially if you're near a quest objective. You shouldn't actually need ALL of the zones listed to reach 62. Pick the ones you like best. It's much more important to simply be as focused as possible and flow from one quest to the next.
To do this, you will need up the WoW Legion Expansion, a maximum of 10 characters including a Herbalist at Lvl 100+, and, of course, Seeds! You can get the seeds by farming them, doing Herbalism World Quests, or buying or trading them in the Auction House. Usual seed raids can are for 30, 50, and 100 seeds and raiding them can take up to a maximum of two hours.
This achievement requires you to completely explore both Kul’Tiras and Zandalar continents, uncovering and mapping all available regions. You’ll likely uncover most of the zones without even trying, as questing while leveling then later completing World Quests will take you through most every part of both continents. The achievements will let you know which areas you still need to discover, such as “Savagelands,” but that isn’t all too helpful. Just look for any areas which are still unrevealed on your world map.

If you already have a high level character or a friend willing to give you gold then you can purchase Heirloom items. These items are bound to account and are accessible through the Heirlooms tab using Shift+P. The benefits of these Heirloom items is that they scale with your level keeping your gear up to date without you having to worry about upgrades, and they provide a significant XP bonus.
Professions are skills used to create and enhance items (gears). You will start with one skill once your character has learned a profession. When you use the profession, your skill will increase. A profession’s higher skill will allow you to create more powerful items. If you change a primary profession, you will lose any skill you have made with your original profession. So it is important to choose your primary professions wisely.
Unless Blizzard has some real story shake-ups and a phenomenally tuned raid on the horizon, I’m honestly expecting the sharpest player decrease to set in within the next few months. The expansion itself has some interesting ideas, but sticking to a World Quest grindfest is quickly becoming the norm, and the Island Expeditions aren’t exactly exciting.
For reference, my previous best time abusing Method-0 in 7.3.5 was 32.4 hours(as show in the old thread). A difference of just over 8 hours; which isn't all that bad, all things considered. And I believe I made several errors along the way, which could be cleaned up in future runs. I believe that that gap could be significantly closed by using a monk's bonus, but I hate playing monk...so...yeah. YMMV
5% was admittedly an exaggeration, just felt that low. I'd say it was probably closer to the 30-40% range. It was Artifacts of the Blacksilt, spent a good 10-15 minutes killing Blacksilt Seers to get two damn idols to drop. A quest that had me killing Elder Brown Bears for bear flanks also took quite a while, though that was less due to drop rate and more due to how spread out they were.
I generally hate this farming spot, although I remember alot of farmers coming up big here. For my liking the drop chance on the sprite darter hatchling is very low and I couldnt ever come up with one during this expansion. HOWEVER, if you do get one, you an make out BIG - as this pet is non-existent on pretty much every server's AH. Did I mention it goes for a stunning 150,000g? Yup. Then add to the fact that many players LOVE this pet, especially girls for some reason... And you can make a big profit if you get one to drop. Honestly I hate it, it just rubbed me the wrong way. You can find it in new thalanar, on the very east side of feralas. Good luck.
War Mode: War Mode can be turned on at level 30 through your talent window, and will give you 10% bonus XP. You will, however, be attackable by players of the opposing faction, but changes have been made so that all players have a fair shot in a fight and even low-level players can kill much higher level players, and at least not get ganked and one shotted. Note: As of patch 8.1, you can get an additional call to arms bonus with war mode on if your faction is underepresented.
Skinning is the third gathering profession and it is very different from the other two. It works by skinning the dead bodies of animals with skins. You need to both kill the mob and then gather the body. Your main customers will be leatherworkers. Skinning in Legion is very good and gives a large amount of Blood of Sargeras. I suggest pairing this with a crafting profession that can unload a lot of bloods, like Alchemy or enchanting. We push multiple alpha versions to Curse on an average day, these versions may contain important new features or bug fixes for the bleeding edge raid content... These versions are tagged as alpha, so they will not be downloaded by default. Set your Curse client to update to alpha if you want these latest versions (but they may contain bugs, downloads tagged as "Beta" or "Release" are more stable)
I dont know if this exist already, if it does I couldnt find one, but it would be nice to have a guide with the location of all daily quest broken down by Alliance, Horde, Faction, Neutral, etc. I know there can be variable quest for things like Fishing and Cooking but just having the location for those quest givers would be great. If it were a stand alone addon that would be even better!
The vanilla WoW Horde leveling guide you see on this site was originally made back in 2006 by Joana (AKA Mancow, or FuriousPaul). The guides have been tweaked many times over the years to make things "faster". The leveling guides were made because of all the messages I got from people asking me how I was able to level up so quickly on new realms. I was first to level 60 on 7 different realms (3 with Mancow and 4 with Joana), even winning Blizzard's "First to Level 50" contest they held back in 2006.
Disable alpha versions in your Curse client if you do not want multiple updates per day. Make sure you check main download preference as well as DBM's individual download preference. You could have primary method set to release and dbm still set to alpha. Right click on DBM itself in curse client addon list and set it to release/beta to avoid the daily updates.
Legion's game design set up BFA to feel bad when weapons were made to be removed but player were not to retain their benefits in some way. BFA will set up the next expansion in the same way with the removal the azerite necklace leaving the next expansion in a similar place where classes will feel empty and no actual amount of character progression has occurred over the next two years.

Majority of world quests provide pretty bad rewards. Running for a wq that rewards 130 gold is a waste. Resources are not that necessary apart of some rare profit missions or buying the seal for them. Azerite for non-raiders or nonmythics is pretty much useless to farm since every patch will lower their requirement, and aside from few occasions it brings not much of a value. Not to mention that island expeditions are probably easier/faster with rng chance for tmog or pets. So the only main reason to farm them is the reputation. The most important is getting to exalted for recipes but for that there is no cache. The rest is pretty much not needed.
