Of course this is pure speculation, but who thought the token would be beneath 200.000 Gold again? But the only thing important for you is to calculate at what point you make profit by selling the tokens again. If you consider it, you should take the risk! Worst case scenario: You have a lot of battle.net balance to spend for Gametime, mounts, pets and boosts/services!
If you can Solo an instance, you have two options. The first is to take the place apart yourself and sell all the drops on the Auction House. For level 80 characters, Scarlet Monastery, Uldaman, and other mid-level instances are easily soloable, and are a very popular source of cloth and marketable blue and green items. If you're reasonably well-geared, and feeling more adventurous, Scholomance and Stratholme are also soloable, and can be extremely lucrative as a source of auctionable items.
Welcome! While this leveling guide is specifically made for the class and specialization(s) listed, we also have a general Battle for Azeroth leveling guide that focuses on the specific features of the Battle for Azeroth expansion including preparation of your mission table that will be used to unlock new areas, progressing on your faction's War Effort to save time at Level 120, and a reminder to keep ALL of the gear you find for the Scrap-o-Matic 1000 or Shred-Master Mk1, which will greatly increase your resource generating capabilities. Please visit our 110 to 120 leveling guide for this information and more (including Heirloom and War Mode advice that also applies to players who are not yet Level 110.
Any item with a grey name is considered vendor trash or poor quality. White items have some use such as tradeskills, spell reagents or reputation raisers, so you may want to check to see if they're worth more than the vendor price. Keep your eyes out for regular quality weapons, as even the worst of these tend to sell for several silver, or several gold at high level. Always check the tooltip for the vendor price before discarding anything. Also, white (or even grey) shoulder armor under level 20 sells regularly on the auction house, mainly because there is nothing better available at that level.
While this is more a method than a farm, I still thought it belonged in this video. This method takes advantage of the long forgotten spell, void shatter. Generally because of the logistics behind how easily obtainable void crystals are when compared to large prismatic shards, void crystals cost SUBSTANTIALLY less. The void shatter spell however turns 1 void crystal into 2 large prismatic shards. Globally large prismatic shards are worth 15g a piece, while void crystals trend around 2-4g a piece. Can you do the math on that? You can literally triple your investment cost by creating more prismatic shards for your market. All it requires is for you to get honored with the shattered sun offensive, a little known fact that most enchanters are too lazy to take advantage of. Nobody is doing this, and on most servers the market it ripe to take over. Don't believe me? Check it out yourself!

The expansion is set immediately after the events of Legion. Two continents have been added within the Great Sea between the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor: Kul Tiras, one of the major human kingdoms, and Zandalar, the homeland of Azeroth's trolls. While the Alliance and Horde will initially travel to one continent respectively, both continents will be available to both factions at level 120.
Gold for riding training. Travel time is a SIGNIFICANT time sink while using quests to level. You don't want to wait to get it. In fact, while questing, the second you ding 40/60/70/80 you'll want to hearth and train it IMMEDIATELY! 10304 gold is the base cost, which will be modified by reputation. Also, make sure you're in a guild with the 10% riding speed bonus unless you're a class that already gets a mount-speed buff.
Patch 8.1 Hotfixes: January 7th Here we go with the first hotfixes of 2019! We have a lot of tweaks today, from a G'huun 5% Hp nerf on all difficulties, to Hunter and Shaman Hear of Azeroth trait fixes, dungeon changes, Druid, Priest and Shaman PvP tweaks, Rhan'ka's Escape Plan no longer being usable in M+, raids and rated PvP (which was announced a while ago) and more!
Battle of Dazar'alor Raid Preview & Schedule Battle of Dazar'alor is the second raid of the expansion that opens on January 22. It revolves around the Alliance vs. Horde conflict and comes with a unique flashback mechanic, where players get transformed into the opposing faction (including racials) to witness a portion of the raid from the other faction's perspective. I liked the little discount for the weekend special. I was used to buying other expansions that included a 30 game time card, this did not. However I was prompted to spend gold I had build up and saved, previously playing the game, and it cost me 117000 gold deducted from my combined characters on my old main server. Big download, so I had to wait to play it until the next morning. Gameplay is different, I was used to the old talent point system, alas I had 10 lvl 100 characters, max level garrisons and shipyard. I did the only thing thinkable without having to take time to vendor unusable items that I thought had meaning. Created the new class. Tutorial started at 98, to get you to 100 with a slow intro back into the game. Auction house prices are pretty high with how long this game has been around. I hope to play more soon, but not like the hardcore grind years past. All I know is I am spending remaining gold saved on biggest affordable bags, and whatever flight trainings to keep me moving fast. Game looks good, no lag, I already enjoy the storyline again.
Materials ('mats') - items that get used in professions. This is driven more by use than by source; for example, copper is very easy to mine, but it is widely in demand, and you can often find bargains in copper, bargains you can profit from. Contrarily, some very scarce mats may have low demand, may only be used in one mediocre recipe, and may not sell.
A little bit about myself for credibility: I am a 21 year old college student and have been playing WoW since it was first released. I have three characters at the gold cap and want to share my methods with you in a way that I hope has been more clear and concise than the other guides out there. Thanks again and check back soon for my role-playing guide for WoW as well as other guides for MMOs and RPGs in general.
Elemental items (Primals, Eternals, etc.) can be a good source of money, because they are always in demand on the AH. See which mobs you will most benefit from farming, then set out for a few hours. In the process you will also most likely collect significant vendor trash, and may get other profitable item drops as well. Note, however, that older elemental drops usually lose profitability compared to newer ones, i.e. Primal Water sold well to level 70 players in BC, but sells far less well to level 80 players in WotLK, because level 80 gear requires Eternal this'n'that.
I tell you my experience. I'm leveling a priest that it's 60 now and since I have also done some instances (and I have full heirloom set with 20% experience gain bonuses) and been very ahead of the guide, I skipped some zones since they were grey quest for me, well it was a real mess. Missing quests because I didn't to the previous to enable the following. Going in a zone then realizing that I couldn't do that quest because I didn't do the starting quest chain, very unconmfortable. In short what I suggest you it's not to skip areas, or make really sure that you do all the quests required (at least) and check carefully the previous zone you'll going to skip to make sure that you won't have problems with struggling finding where to start the quest chain to sync with the guide section.
You will have to buy [Mark of Blackrock] or [Mark of Shadowmoon] at the Enchanter's Study with [Secrets of Draenor Enchanting]. These recipes cost 5 Secrets of Draenor Enchanting so you will have to wait 5 days until you can buy one of them. It's worth to wait because with other recipes you get 1 skill point / [Temporal Crystal], while with these you get 5 skill points / [Temporal Crystal].
Okay, this farm really picked up steam here in late legion. Generally what we're looking for is volatile air, and other volatiles when combined with the potion of treasure finding. This farm is as easy as pulling the entire instance all the way to the first boss – and AOE'ing down ebery mob that follows. In the video you can see me getting volatile airs in stacks of 11 for each pull I make. Wit the trending price of each volatile being worth at least 100g, I was making 1100g per pull. It's by far the most effcient volatile spot, but it has hits limits as you can only reset an instance 10 times before you have to wait a while to do it again. If you only going to be on for an hour or so, this is the spot you want to hit. It's great, fast, and awards a high liquid value of items. Awesome Stuff.
Also get the Heirloom Mount. Being able to have basic riding speed from the beginning will save you a lot of time if you're starting from level 1. Allied races start at 20, so this is a non-issue for them. It's important to note that Pandaren can not use this mount until they finish their starting zone and pick a faction. Being Horde or Alliance is a requirement of the mount.
I recommend not counting on transmog sells for your monthly gametime. Its a great market, but also pretty random. You have to have the right items posted at the right moment if a player needs a certain item. If this is not the case, of course you will not sell anything to him. There are people making millions of golds a month with transmog. But they are very professional at it and it really takes a lot of time.
