Even if you don’t have flying in WoD be sure to get the WoD handy notes. If you have flying simply fly and pick up all the treasures that you can and do bonus objectives. Not every single piece of treasure will be worth it though as some are hidden in caves or are just hard to get. So if you find yourself spending more than a few minutes finding a treasure, just skip it and move on, there is plenty of treasure to go around.
-PvP- Completely broken for some classes and I mean broken going from both sides of the spectrum, from classes destroying everyone, to classes that can't even kill another player. It's fairly common for a weak class to lose to a powerful class even if the weak class outgears them by 50+ ilvls. That's how broken PvP is and Blizzard doesn't seem to know what to do to fix it other than do blanket damage nerfs/buffs as those are the only changes we've seen.
Do quests and complete the story of your first chosen area before returning to your capital to scrap all of the equipment items you acquired. You should be around Level 113 by the time you complete your first area. Before selecting your second zone, head to your faction hub ship to acquire your introductory quests to the mission table and your champions. Complete this introduction and then pick up the quest to establish your first foothold in enemy territory.
Aug 26 Welcome to Warcraft - Frequent Questions Hello all, and welcome to World of Warcraft! This can be a very rewarding game and offers a variety of cool experiences with the chance to meet some interesting folks. We'd all like to extend a hearty welcome to the newest members of our ever-growing community and wish you the best of luck in your gaming experience. Before we get started, one of the first questions you might be asking is why the text of certain posters is in green or blue. Green is because those posters are forum MVPs. They have no special privileges or powers and, besides the text, are in no way different from many posters you might meet on these forums. MVPs are recognized by Blizzard for providing consistently accurate information and helping to maintain a positive atmosphere on the forums. This, of course, does not preclude some of them from being a little snarky and sarcastic at times! You will also notice posters that represent themselves with blue font. These are official representatives that work for Blizzard. They do have the ability to answer many questions and offer some bans when the situation warrants it. More information about these two can be found in the first sticky on the General Forums, as well as links to the forum Guidelines and Code of Conduct: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/20749397405 Moving on! While Warcraft can be a very exciting experience, there are likely many questions you will ask along the way and a few problems you might run into. Fear not, for all the people who post in these forums (whether they'd like to admit it or not!) were in the same boat at one point or another. In fact, you might even see some of them come in here and ask questions of their own! Take this as a sign that not everyone knows everything about the game! For your reading ease, the most asked questions will be highlighted in this thread. Battle of Dazar'alor Raid Preview & Schedule Battle of Dazar'alor is the second raid of the expansion that opens on January 22. It revolves around the Alliance vs. Horde conflict and comes with a unique flashback mechanic, where players get transformed into the opposing faction (including racials) to witness a portion of the raid from the other faction's perspective. Plus, I am a pet collector, and there are plenty of pets to collect in the new dungeon. Completing the dungeon’s challenge mode grants players a Mini Spider Tank battle pet. Continue playing on a weekly basis to earn currency towards items like the Unopened Gnomeregan Supply Box, Mechanical Cockroach, Schematic: Mechantula, Leper Rat Tail, and Rechargeable Alarm-O-Dog Battery.
The Death Adder Hatchling is still one of the expensive farmable pets today, simply because it requires quite a bit of luck to get it. But still, chances to get this pet can be increased if you know what to do. Therefore, whether you want this pet for your collection, or to sell it, here’s what you need to do: Requirements: Minimum level 90; TomTom ... Read More »
It’s a good thing that the previous expansion, Legion, was the best in the game’s history because Battle for Azeroth is coasting on its success. The major class redesigns that happened then remain in effect (though some are a little worse, and some a little better), and the combination of World Quests and Mythic+ dungeons means there’s always something to do, no matter your skill level or how long you can play.
Anyway both got to 110 at around 50h played. I messed up with my Pal by going to Legion once I hit 100 instead of finishing treasures and bonuses in WoD. All in all, if I picked the best zones and was only trying to level as fast as I could, I would probably could have done it in roughly 40h. Note that it would have a been A LOT faster with a Monk as both Ret and Rogues don't really have a decent AoE until 40+ (45 for Ret and 63 for Rogue I believe). The daily also helps a lot. I know that leveling my Monk before the pre-patch was insanely fast. Might be slower with the changes to FoF, however.
Nov 14 Tabard for reputation not working? I'm wearing the "Tabard of the Argent Crusade". It's descriptions says "Equip: All reputation gains while in lv 80 dungeons will be applied to them." Leveling from 81-85 solely from dungeons... while wearing the tabard and doing random queue for pandarian dungeons gave zero reputation. Anyone know why?Jâck7 Nov 14
2. Begging - Many guides will tell you begging is worthless and will not work because people get agitated. This is not entirely true if executed properly. As more players accumulate gold through Wrath and Cataclysm items and professions, the number of casual players with gold obviously increases. These casual players remember how it was to just start off and be poor. They will often donate a few gold to a sob story or a "noobie". Look for the players that are not in full epic sets of the best gear, but rather, the ones in heroic gear or worse.
If these tips are not up your alley, feel free to play the auction house as early as you have enough to buy one cheap stack of peacebloom. These low level herbs are fantastic sources of early income with little risk since everyone needs to level professions. Alchemists especially are popular every expansion because of the need for those high level trinkets that soar above even heroic drops. As a result, that peacebloom you bought for 10 silver now can easily sell during peak hours for well over a gold! This is a minimum of a 1000% profit! While 1 gold may not seem much, when you are selling 10 stacks at a time, those few hundred gold can go very fast and get you into the greater profit items. However, knowing prices on peacebloom and other lower level mats can prove difficult. This is where Auctionator finally comes in! Run a scan overnight on all your auction characters. You can now see whether or not a posted item is worth buying because of percentages presented next to the list. The major lesson to take out of this is to scan daily and see which items fluctuate greatly, as those are your rewarding items! Items that jump from 10s to 3g depending on time of day or uninformed buyers are a goldmine waiting to be taken advantage of. You can buy low and sell high, succeeding in the World of Warcraft stock market!
Unless low quality items have some known quest use or are coveted by other players, you should try to sell it as soon as possible to create bag space. Always (or almost always, see above exceptions) keep things like cloth, leather, herbs, or large stacks of white/gray items over other loot when you have to decide what to keep when your bags get full. It might be worth your while to invest in larger bags (10-20 slot), especially if you know a tailor.

Nov 6 are twinks an issue in high level pvp hello i have not played since cat and when i found out accounts were upgraded to the last xpack i started played without a sub. i mainly like to pvp but the 20-29 bracket is won by who has the most twinks so the result is either a slaughter or a carry neither of these are fun for anyone who likes competitive gameplay. i also feel like i have little to no impact on the outcome or outside running flags (if i'm not 3 shoted by a twink). it seems no matter how skilled the player is if you don't have the gear you're not going to do well. anyway is every bracket like this or is this just a issue with 10-19/20-29 brackets? i know 10-19 is unplayable if your not twinked. i'm sorry i didn't sub last xpack it sounded like pvp was better than.Piale3 Nov 6

A common mistake of new players is to upgrade their gear at every opportunity, paying for a new piece even if it will only add one or two new stat points over an existing item. Likewise, investing in headgear, neckwear, trinkets, and rings at the earliest available levels can also consume valuable cash. While it might seem foolish to leave an available slot empty, you will eventually find something to fill it. Blizzard will see to it via the quest rewards you'll get along the way. In the mean time, the 1 or more you save will serve you well if you invest it wisely. The bottom line is that one can easily level all the way to the maximum relying on just quest/drop greens. The gear you get from regular questing can help you perform well in dungeons, which gets you even better equipment.
Perhaps the most exciting addition this expansion brings to the table is the inclusion of a new islands system that adds an almost rogue-like element to the game. Basically, players will be able to build parties of three and explore these island areas. The catch here is that these areas change slightly every time that you visit them. You'll also be able to access new areas called Waterfronts that support 20 player fights over locations that are reportedly of strategic importance to both the Horde and the Alliance.
To give you some perspective I leveled both a LF Ret Paladin and BE Rogue (so one started from level 20 and the other from level 1). I focused on getting the achievements I was missing for the Loremaster, so not the most efficient route by any means. I was using full enchanted heirlooms (minus the ring) and the WoW-Pro addon though, as well as having War Mode turned on all the way.
Most of the time you spend leveling will involve questing and slaying monsters, but there’s also a lot of travel. Travel earns you little experience (you do gain a bit for discovering new areas), so it’s wise to keep travel to a minimum. The new level scaling system, which scales zones to your level within a preset range, helps with that. You can choose what zones you want to experience and stick with them until you finish their quests.
The recruit also grants the recruiter levels, with the latter gaining one level for every two levels the recruit gains. There are a lot of rules and restrictions to that, however. It all basically boils down to leveling alternate characters together. The recruiter can even earn epic mounts and battle pets if you stick with the game for a couple months.
-Gameplay- Gameplay has largely been stripped down to be a shell of its former self. This trimming has been going on for several expansions, but now it's even worse. Classes only have so many buttons which has resulted in very little skill involved in PvE (even PvP is a faceroll for most melee, lacking any sort of depth and decision-making as it's pretty clear what buttons to press in any given situation) and it's become more of a gear check. This expansion gave zero new abilities to classes, only took them away.
Val’sharah is the main WoW Legion zone where you can gather Dreamleaf, being also one of the best zones to skill up Herbalism. In fact, if you’ve just started Legion with your herbalist character, this is the best zone to begin with. Requirements: Minimum character level 100; Herbalism skill 700; Gatherer addon (optional). Where to go: Fly to Lorlathil (54,72) in Val’sharah. What to do: ... Read More »
The most rare and expensive poly morph tome drop and for a reason.  The bears that drop it are VASTLY spread out across the zone and getting one can mean hard farminh for a while.  They also take a while to respawn so watch out.  Getting one to drop can mean a staggering 48,000g, and on top of that compared to other pet farms and such, they have a much higher drop chance.  Simply head over to dragonbligh ona mage character (class trial is perfect) and start the killing.  Cross you fingers as there is an 0.4% chance to get one on each kill.  Thats actually pretty high considering..
