If you can answer all of those questions with yes, then you are in a position to make a lot of gold! You can continue doing every step to get to the gold cap as quickly as possible. The security achieved through this can buy you virtually anything you desire in the game, including achievements that would otherwise be impossible on your own, which leads us to the final gold making tip - Selling achievements. If you are the leader or officer in a guild, you can take good acquaintances on your raids with you for achievements like finishing ICC or any other hard raid achievements that your guild finds easy and manageable. I have seen achievements go for 20k+ if you find the right client! This is very situational, however, and is by no means necessary to hit the gold cap, it just helps!
Meanwhile, Tyrande Whisperwind and Malfurion Stormrage grow impatient regarding liberating Darkshore from the Horde's control, ultimately choosing to begin the offensive on their own, against Anduin's advice. In order to maximize their chances, Tyrande undergoes a ritual to turn herself into the Night Warrior, the avatar of Elune's most wrathful and warlike aspects. To counter this, Sylvanas orders several Night Elven heroes who fell in the Burning of Teldrassil to be raised as Dark Rangers to bolster her forces.
If you find yourself coveting your first mount, and with no money to purchase it, try to swallow your frustration and work at earning and saving up so you can buy it honestly. Nothing is more annoying to other players who are working hard to earn their own money than hearing someone begging for gold so that they can buy a mount or fancy piece of gear.

Directly following theWhile I don't agree with some of the story choices as of late, BfA is a great addition to the WoW expansion list. Directly following the explosive conclusion to Legions End, we see the two warring factions at each others throats once again. In addition, we are seeing a trickle of new races becoming available with unlock requirements. As of patch 8.1, the grind for these races has been massively alleviated.
Don't put all your eggs in one basket. It's a lot better to spend your working capital on buying forty items for auction, each with the potential for profit, than to take all your working capital and invest it in that one purple leatherworking recipe that you hope will make you several hundred gold. If that puppy doesn't sell, or doesn't sell for what you want, you've just wasted all your working money, and deprived yourself of a lot of flexibility. Leave speculating on purple items until you have a few thousand gold squirreled away.
May 19, 2016 Welcome. Please Read! Welcome to the New Player Help and Guides forum! This forum is here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can ask questions and receive helpful information from experienced players and learn more about the adventures that await you! Community forums work best when participants treat their fellow posters with respect and courtesy, so we ask that you take the time to read through the forum Code of Conduct (http://us.battle.net/en/community/conduct) and guidelines (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/15252595157) before posting. Important Reminders: Search The search function at the top of the World of Warcraft community site is extremely effective and robust. Before you create a new forum topic, please be use it to search for similar topics, blog posts, or web pages that may contain the answer for which you are looking. Making a new thread on an existing subject can result in your thread being deleted or, if you continue to re-post the same content, the loss of your forum privileges for spamming. Rating The forum rating system can be used to promote positive discussion, demote unhelpful comments, and even report posts that violate the forum Code of Conduct. By hovering over a post you'll be presented with several options, including a "thumbs up" (Like) and a "thumbs down" (Dislike) icon. Clicking the "thumbs up" icon will rate the post up. If enough people like a post, it will gain a Highly Rated status and appear at the top of related search results. Highly Rated posts will also have a highlighted background. Clicking the "thumbs down" icon will expand a drop-down menu which will include "Dislike," "Trolling, "Spam" and "Report" options. "Dislike" will rate the post down. If enough people dislike a post, it will be darkened, and with a lot of dislikes it will be hidden completely. You can also quickly report a post as trolling or spam, or use the report function to fill out a more comprehensive description of a violation. Please note that you can only rate each post once. Use your power wisely to help foster a positive and helpful forum community. Have fun posting on these forums, and good luck with your adventures in Azeroth! Guidelines In addition to the forum Code of Conduct (http://us.battle.net/en-us/community/conduct), here are some common courtesy guidelines to follow. While these do technically fall within the bounds of the Code of Conduct, these cover more specific examples of common errors that will lead to thread deletions or posting privileges being revoked. [ul] The World of Warcraft forums are for discussion of topics directly related to World of Warcraft. The forums here are specifically to discuss the game and related topics. Any topics not related to World of Warcraft, Battle.net, or Blizzard Entertainment are subject to deletion. Don't post in all capital letters, use a misleading title, excessive punctuation, and/or non-standard symbols, etc. While everyone wants their posts read, we ask you to refrain from using these types of tactics in order to bring more people to your thread. Let your post stand on its own merit. Threads violating this guideline are subject to deletion. Using the words "Blizzard," "Blue," or any community team members' names in a thread topic is frowned upon. Everyone would like Blizzard to read and acknowledge his or her post, and we understand that; however, use of such words in the subject line does not help that come to pass. Please make your thread title relevant to the post subject. Threads violating this guideline are subject to deletion. Posting "First" or IBTL ("in before lock") constitutes as spamming. You will be suspended if you create a post that is intended to call out that you achieved a specific reply number in a thread. This is considered spamming. Posting IBTL ("in before the lock") is not helpful, and if you feel a thread should be moderated please use the rating button to do so. Do not "bump" posts. The act of posting simply to bump a thread is considered spamming. This also includes bumping very old threads for no reason (called "necro bumping" or "necroing"). Petition posts are frowned upon. These are discussion forums and, as such, we ask that you hold discussions. Creating a thread to ask for replies as votes is not a discussion. Threads violating this guideline are subject to deletion. Do not post about locked or deleted threads. Posts that are moderated have a reason behind the moderation. It's up to you to read the forum Code of Conduct and these guidelines to determine what you did wrong, learn from your mistake, and attempt to post again without breaking any rules. My second most anticipated new feature in the Tides of Vengeance update is the Battle for Darkshore Warfront. It’s the second cyclical battle between the Horde and Alliance, in which each faction takes turns gathering resources, fighting in a pitched raid battle and then controlling the Darkshore zone. In what I hope will be an improvement to the Warfronts feature, the controlling faction will gain access to diverse world quests in the zones they control, rather than the “kill x of y” quests from when it first launched.
I like to spend as little time as possible on transmog. 1-3 hours of farming a week is about all I can stomach, and I can stomach even less of it on the auction house. When you've got a thousand items listed, cancel scans get ridiculous. As transmog is best taken as a method of making passive gold over time, with little pockets of effort thrown in, do not waste your time undercutting constantly. Instead, adopt an approach that allows you to just post once or twice a day.
This farm almost did not make the list, since every YouTuber and farmer alike has beaten it to death since it first appeared sometime in 2012. There are so many videos on this spot, that it's hard to to stumble across one, even while searching for something completely mundane, like chicken wings or golf clubs. Anyway, you want to pull the entire instance without aggroing any of the bosses, and if your a skinner you an make slightly more gold by skinning the hides. Generally this farm is being phased out by the lvl 58 twilight outpost farm, and with good reason. It's better and does not require you to enter the instance. So more drops for you! Not sure, why anyone would pick this spot over the latter unless you were really interested in increasing you skinning level.
It seemed like the Horde players at BlizzCon sat divided during the opening ceremony Before the show started, players cheered for Sylvanas Windrunner, the current, evil(-ish) warchief of the Horde, when her picture showed up on screen. But when the Lost Honor cinematic played and Saurfang talked about “wanting his Horde back,” the audience had a massive, excited reaction.
The goblins of the Steamweedle cartel have set up several neutral auction houses about Azeroth. Gadgetzan, Booty Bay, and Everlook all house neutral auction houses. The neutral is useful for making money, as commodities that Alliance players can get easily can be sold at a cheap price to Horde players (or vice versa), and then sold at a higher price at a major city.
Even though the guide was developed with a hunter, the guide can be followed by any class. Except you have to do your class's quests which aren't a whole lot. I do have full intention to make my guide friendly with all classes in the future by listing all of their steps as well. There will be a toggle that allows you to show which class's steps you want to see in the guide. But this is coming later.
WeakAuras 2 can be pretty complex and daunting for some players, but it’s another great organizational tool. It reorganizes buffs and status screens in a customizable way, so you can view them how you want to. It is a bit difficult and confusing to start these customizations, but thankfully there are templates that already exist for most of the basic customization options.
As a hero of the mighty Alliance, journey to the seafaring kingdom of Kul Tiras, home of Jaina Proudmoore. Untangle a web of betrayal and dark magic as you encounter power-hungry pirates, witches wielding death magic, mystical sea priests, and more. Explore the stony peaks of Tiragarde Sound, trek across Drustvar's high plains and red forests, and navigate the intricate inland canals of Stormsong Valley as you convince this fractured kingdom to join your cause.
“It’s challenging for sure,” said Cobo. “but I think that, ultimately, we have to look at what’s at the core of the faction [...] Everything is about honor when it comes to the Horde, and as the story unfolds and you start to learn about the motivations behind Saurfang, or the motivations behind Sylvanas and why she’s doing what she’s doing, it starts to create a perspective around, ‘Is that the kind of person that I want to follow?’
I personally wouldn't recommend Bloodmyst Isle. There's a ton of quests but a lot of those quests have absolutely horrible drop rates on their items. A lot of the quest mobs also have very slow and/or spread out spawns so if there's other people there you're gonna be waiting for respawns or spending a lot of time traveling between spawn areas quite a bit. Overall it's just an incredibly slow zone as far as EXP goes.
After completing your island expedition and second foothold, head back out to your third and final zone to quest in. Note that any legendaries you were using to level have become inactive and are merely stat sticks now. Feel free to replace them with quest gear as you obtain it. Before heading out, feel free to send your three champions out on new missions!
Get your item level as high as possible. Having the best gear is always going to help you when clearing content, so upgrading your individual pieces of armor will be important in the first few days after the expansion’s release. If you’re looking to get ready for Uldir, then you’ll want to be around item level 350 by the time that raid is released on Sept. 4.
Christmas is here and the Winter Veil Presents can now be opened in US and EU regions! Whether you've been naughty or nice, Greatfather Winter has a nice surprise waiting for you to collect in Orgrimmar or Ironforge. The Winter Veil presents will be available until January 2, and opening one will also reward you with the He Knows If You've Been Naughty achievement.
This is not to say that you should never buy gear. Having equipment that is reasonably current while leveling allows you to kill enemies faster, and die less often in the process. Faster leveling = sooner to higher levels (where the real money is to be made). Likewise, death = loss of time. And, as we all know, "Time is money, friend!" So, players should not hesitate to make well-considered equipment acquisitions during their leveling up, but only if they represent a substantial improvement over their existing equipment and if the price is right. Try to find good deals. It should go without saying that you should never purchase any equipment from vendors; always use the Auction House. Look several levels above and below your own for bargains. Don't buy items that you won't hold onto for at least 4-5 levels. And don't always use the buyout option at the AH. Some of the best deals come from bidding and being patient - it'll be two days at the most. Of course, if you play too hard you may have surpassed that weapon by the time you win it. In which case, you may want to auction it again. If you know there's an item that would be great for you, say, five levels from now, keep your eye out for it and bid on it, several times if need be. When you get it, stuff it away for later. That's why you have a bank alt.
The following WoW gold farming spot is not far different from the Sra’Vess spot. In other words, you’ll basically get the same MoP loot. However, some of the green gear that can be obtained from these mobs sells for nice prices, as players want these weapons and armor for transmog. Requirements: Minimum level 90 character; AoE build / class; Potion of Luck. Where to go: ... Read More »
In Battle for Azeroth, the fall of the Burning Legion has set off a series of disastrous incidents that reignites the furious rivalry between the noble Alliance and the mighty Horde. As a new age of warfare begins, Azeroth’s heroes must set out on a harrowing journey in search of new allies, race to claim the world’s mightiest resources to turn the tides of war, and fight on several fronts to determine which side will lead Azeroth into its uncertain future.
Story and Lore Dev Livestream Coming Thursday Battle for Azeroth has had a pretty rough start in terms of story and lore, as at the very least it has divided players, and not quite the way Blizzard wanted, aka along faction lines. There's been countless forum and reddit posts talking about Sylvanas' war crimes, Saurfang's inconsistent decisions, as well as a whole lot of other story and character details that players feel haven't been they way they expected and wanted.
The most important step in being able to buy a mount and make other large purchases should be self-evident: saving. Economize as often as you can, and don't buy anything unless you absolutely have to. You can burn through hundreds of gold even before level 20 by visiting the auction house for new equipment at every opportunity. If you do so, over the long haul you will be left with very little to show for it. Before level 20, keep your eyes on the prize: getting that mount. The mount helps you move faster. Faster movement means faster killing, faster questing, faster quest turn-ins, and faster leveling. It is the most important tool to fast leveling you can get at level 20, and infinitely more important than getting your hands on that Left-Handed Vorpal Cleaver of the Zipswitch that you could have purchased at level 23. Stay focused.
Another question I am frequently asked is when should one use trade instead of the auction house. On most servers, the auction house tends to have a lot posted right after peak hours, say 1am server time. Combine this with the fact that a lot of people are just sitting in cities and not really looking to the auction house. This is where trade chat dominates the auction house. Tired players are looking for conversation to take their mind off of sleeping or boredom. If you can sell effectively, trade chat will make a greater profit then the auction house outside of peak hours. A few tips to polish those trading skills might include:
Using the Looking for Group interface, or joining a good guild, and doing instances that are around your level. You'll learn valuable grouping skills, and the level of loot in an instance is typically much better than what you could find on your own. If possible, concentrate on instances with humanoid mobs, since selling the cloth that they drop is a good way to make money.
Update: The reason for less experience from gathering is due to how Blizzard revamped professions and broke them down by expansion. In order to get full exp from gathering you'll simply need to find a profession trainer for the relevant expansion. (WoD you just mine or herb the first one ypu come across and the game gives you a scroll for learning WoD gathering).
Now that you have the addons and the websites needed for success, you are ready to make auction toons. You will want two auction toons, one on the same faction as your main toon and one on the opposite faction. Do not use your main toon to make the auctions that get you gold! This is one of the greatest mistakes you can make because after a while, people will get annoyed with your prices and selling quantities and begin to blacklist you from groups and some will even boycott your products. Do not risk this happening to you, but rather, create an orc for horde and human for alliance and get them outside the nearest auction houses in Orgrimmar and Stormwind respectively. (As a personal preference, I tend to avoid names with bank, mart, or sell in the name because when negotiating outside of the auction house, you seem less personal). All the addons we downloaded should be enabled for these characters as well.
Nov 9 How to start getting legion artifact weapon? I have no idea where to begin or what the quest line is called. EDIT: I got the fangs of the ashamane and continued 50 quests ahead and I have STILL not found any options on changing my feral form with the weapon equipped. EDIT AgaIN: Okay apparently i'm glitched because i watched a youtube video and you're supposed to get the first skin by default simply for equipping the fangs immediately after turning in the quest. Any suggestions of fixing this annoying glitch? EDIT: I FIXED IT! i had to click a locked skin option... then clock back to the default which was already highlighted... "click the wrong thing before the right thing will work"Daunt5 Nov 9
As you're leveling, I generally recommend you just follow the natural flow of the progression through each zone. They're laid out fairly reasonably. But don't be afraid to hop around, especially if you're near a quest objective. You shouldn't actually need ALL of the zones listed to reach 62. Pick the ones you like best. It's much more important to simply be as focused as possible and flow from one quest to the next.
On my server there's a big shortage of Primal Air. I've tried farming it in the past using supposedly the best spot(s), but it was honestly horrible. After looking at the Wowhead for Primal Air I noticed there's actually a transmute recipe for Primal Water to Air. I will say as a warning that it apparently does have a 1 day CD like a lot of transmutes, so for some people it might not be worth the time. But at least on my server, there's not 1 Primal Air on the AH and I know that it's a constant shortage, so at the moment I could make a lot of profit just doing my daily CD for this after getting the recipe. To get the recipe you do have to be revered with the Cenarion Expedition from TBC, and there's guides on Wowhead for grinding out that rep as well. I'd recommend checking the stock of Primal Air on The Undermine Journal for your server, and if it's relatively low and you have at least 1 alchemist, go for it. It could be a decent way of making a little more passive gold, just transmuting one Primal to another. I'm probably actually gonna start rolling another alchemist at some point, and this discovery has definitely prodded me in that direction as doing this transmute won't interfere with other TBC transmutes, because there aren't default TBC transmutes as far as I'm aware.
