Professions: This may seem strange for a leveling guide, but the first opportunity you get, pick up both the Mining and Herbalism gathering professions. Not only will this allow you to track many various quest objectives on your map, but you also get a fair amount of experience whenever you gather. I'd put it at around 10% of a quest turn-in per gather. Since most of your wasted time in WoW is travel time, stopping to gather ore or herbs can keep your exp/h rolling as long as you don't go too far out of your way. You should only gather if it's convenient, and on the way to an actual quest objective. Don't make gathering your priority.
Changes were also made to levelling in earlier content with Legion's 7.3.5 patch. The level-scaling tech introduced in Legion not only be continued in the new continents of Kul Tiras and Zandalar, but was also be applied to content from prior expansions, allowing larger level brackets for lower level zones. Further, as previous expansions are now included in the base game, the level ranges for those expansions are now broadened, allowing players to spend more time leveling in preferred expansions and avoid others entirely. Some examples include a zone like Westfall having its level bracket (at 10–15 as of Legion) increased to 10–60, whilst continents such as Outland and Northrend sharing a 60–80 level bracket. The aim of this change is to encourage more player choice whilst levelling and to allow players to experience the full story of a particular zone without overlevelling the relevant quests.

Most classes in World of Warcraft start at first level, but Death Knights and Demon Hunters are exceptions. They start at level 55 and 98, respectively. This alone can shave a huge chunk of time from your leveling experience. Of course, it only works if you want to play a Death Knight or Demon Hunter, but they’re both solid classics that can dish out damage or tank in a group.
To achieve reliably 200% success rate, you need 1 champion equipped with Vial of Ofuscation (counter stealth missions), and the others can equip the +10% increased success rate per troop (some champions, like Falstad/Rexxar already have this passive and will stack). You want to counter the cursed status (success rate wont go over 100%) but you can skip increased time and additional costs affixes since they dont really contribute to success rate. Overall I would say that you need 1 Vial, 3 10% per troop Horns and either one 10% increased chance or one reduced duration item (it counters first strike missions). Using this setup, you will raise dramaticly your success rate which in turn will give you more rewards, but you will burn War Resources since you want to send troops to raise the success rate and we dont counter the increased costs affix most of the time. Its hard to evaluate how many missions you need in order to make-up the costs of the champion equipment, but in the long term is going to be worth.
Two new raids will be introduced in the update, which differ drastically in size and content, depending on which side of the war you’re on. The Siege of Zuldazar raid will see Alliance players trying to take over a city, but if you’re part of the horde, your version will see you try to defend it. Once you’ve beaten it once, you can then play the other side. The Crucible of Storms raid, on the other hand, is smaller, and only consists of two bosses.
When you have completed your third zone, you should be nearly max level, but you still have work to do! Head back to your faction hub and complete the last foothold quest to unlock your fourth mission table champion. After, you will want to do your newly available invasion missions for your faction. This quest chain is one that will be time gated by reputation levels earned with the 7th Legion for the Alliance and iThe Honorbound for the Horde. Complete as many quests as you can and then finish up your leveling with side quests you may have left in previous zones as necessary.
Tiragarde Sound and Stormsong Valley are both fairly similar zones, but Stormsong is a little longer, meaning that you might not even have to finish it to hit 120. Tiragarde also comes with a bit of a warning. There are plenty of side quests to do in the zone after you finish the story quests. Don’t do them. It’s not worth the time or the experience you’ll get.

You should equip new quest rewards when their item level starts beating out your previous set of gear. If you are currently wearing Tier 21 gear, it is best to let the quest rewards significantly beat your existing item level before using them. With that said, you will unlock Azerite pieces early on, which are worth using over Tier gear in most circumstances.
This is a risky way to make money, and not recommended. Tell a player that if he beats you in a duel you will give him 10 gold, but if you beat him he has to give you 5 gold. This can be very effective if you are skilled in PvP and make the bet with a trustworthy person, or friends. It is a very risky strategy, as you may lose gold, or the other player won't cough up the money anyway. You will also get a bad reputation if you don't cough up the money in the case of defeat.

The main problem with these threads is that the original poster often doesn't give readers enough information to make any suggestions. Help us out, and we'll try to help you :) This is a guide on how to write a detailed "Help me find a class/race" thread. This is not a guide on how to find the right class/race...just on how to ask for help about it. Both sections here can have some gray area, so don't be afraid to give us more information. It's just that veteran WoW players usually know a bit more about the classes themselves so they have more background. They also know more terminology, so it's easier to interrogate them. Everyone is viable - DPS are balanced, healers are balanced, tanks are balanced. You want the "best" class/race combo. There isn't a best combo or a best class or a best race. It doesn't exist. Most OP (overpowered) class. Blizzard changes the class balance so much that leveling something purely to be "overpowered" is a futile idea. By the time you hit level cap, the balance would have shifted. Right now there ISN'T a super godly class anyway. Most fun class. I want a bumper sticker that says "Fun is subjective." What I think is fun might not be your cup of tea, so making a good suggestion for you based on "fun" isn't going to be accurate. Do you want to be on the front lines with a shield or watching over your group to keep them safe? Will you be leveling with a friend or mostly on your own? If you're doing it with a friend, what are they planning to level, or have they not decided yet? Have you read about classes at all yet? If so, what stands out as interesting to you? Have you tried any classes already? Are you interested in the lore or story of Warcraft? Some classes have a lot of easily-absorbed lore while others are a little "less detailed" in their history. Interested in roleplaying at all? This goes with the previous question, but some races/classes are easier to roleplay as a newbie than others (with lots of history to adhere to). Do any of the races stick out to you as being attractive? I joined twitch in 2013 with the gamer name of FuriousPaul and I streamed speedruns of the classic Castlevania games from 2013 - 2017. Lately my streams have died down quite a bit due to working on Classic WoW leveling guides every day. Although I may come on occasionally and play a random game for fun on my Twitch stream. I talk a lot about WoW speedrunning on my channel, so feel free to follow and hang out to discuss vanilla WoW if you like. Classic WoW will be my main focus for a long time. Unfortunately I will have to wait until Classic WoW comes out before I start streaming it.
I just faction changed to Hord and transferred servers and I'm trying to figure out what professions to take for the BFA Launch since I only have this character on that server (Area 52). Currently I'm a tailor and enchanter on that character. I'm sure enchanting mats and enchants will be a high price item at the start of the expansion and during the first raid tier so I'm thinking I'll keep that. As far as tailoring, with the new tailoring bags being two slots more than the hexweave bag I'm sure they will be a good seller, but I think they'll maintain their prices longer than other items. So I'm thinking of taking up herbalism instead for the start of the expansion since the scrapper provides no extra way to get herbs, and then switching back to tailoring once the returns from raw materials starts to drop. Does anyone see any problems with that strategy or have a better recommendation?
Some players even turn this into their profession by systematically "plundering" vendors in the game world and then selling the items on the auction house at a significant markup. The reason why this works (even for items which are on unlimited supply at vendors) is, that many players don't want to spend time traveling to specific vendors to get hold of a recipe or skill book. They would rather pay a slightly higher price at their local auction house. In some sense, they use the auction house as a "super market" or "convenience store". So it is completely reasonable and legitimate to be the supplier for this convenience store and make money out of it.

Many players are now forced to play through the expansion with broken, boring, and incredibly weak characters that require such a high ilevel to compete with other classes who at the end of the day, bring more damage, healing, utility, suitability than the underpowered classes. In order for these classes to compete, they require a higher item level. The problem with this is due to the way the WoW community is, where everyone, even those who aren't completely within the competitive scene know the current meta it becomes increasingly harder to gain ilevel as an underpowered class due to groups of higher end content refusing to work with your class.
EDIT: Apparently this transmute *does* share a cooldown with other transmutes outside of the TBC transmutes. So again I would check prices on your server and make sure it's worthwhile to have and use this transmute instead of certain other ones. I believe it shares a cooldown with all other daily transmutes, even those that aren't listed in the profession text as a daily cooldown in game. Kinda unfortunate, but again I'd say compare prices and check the stock of Primal Air on your server because it could still be a great transmute to have if the stock is low on your server.
